Job Description
- Design and implement scalable Ansible architecture and automation frameworks
- Develop and maintain reusable Ansible roles, playbooks, and inventories
- Enforce configuration standards including security baselines and compliance controls
- Standardize automation practices such as idempotency, error handling, and rollback
- Integrate Ansible with Infrastructure-as-Code workflows to support end-to-end operations
- Support multi-cloud environments and ensure consistent configuration management
- Implement automated drift detection and remediation mechanismsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines with validation, governance, and audit capabilities
- Align automation processes with ITIL change management and ITSM integration
- Improve operational efficiency and reliability through automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing
The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, platform engineering, or DevSecOps
- Proven hands‑on experience implementing Ansible in production environments
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server administration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, ITSM tools, and compliance frameworks
