Manager (Product Development) (Sweater)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the merchandising and USA business teams to drive product development initiatives and meet customer requirements
- Stay updated on seasonal graphic trends and conduct research on fashion graphic techniques and applications
- Prepare line sheets and theme boards for presentations, ensuring visual appeal and alignment with customer expectations
- Create comprehensive technical packs and output files to facilitate the sampling and production process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications
- Assist in providing comments and feedback on samples, working closely with the merchandising team, and ensuring that all necessary adjustments are made
- Monitor and track the progress of product development projects, ensuring timely completion and addressing any issues or delays that arise
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain product integrity and ensure adherence to established standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth and efficient product development processes
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify potential product opportunities and areas for improvement
Requirements
- DSE / Form 5 or above
- Proven experience in a managerial role within product development, specifically for sweaters in the US market
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
- Knowledge of quality control processes and experience in ensuring product integrity
