Fitting Technician (Sweater)
Responsibilities
- Provides all round technical advice to Merchandising teams / Factories & Customers for problem solving
- Working closely with Merchandising teams and customers to provide technical and fitting advices
- Coach Factories to understand and implement Company standard and requirements
- Guide factories to execute sample correctly to speed up approval process
- Responsible for all fit, construction and technical related efforts from development to production
- Approve the sample fitting and provide comments in technical point of view
- Technical support in product engineering
- Any other tasks / projects as assigned
Requirements
- DSE / Form 5 or above
- Minimum 8-10 experience in same role and at least 3 years in same role in sourcing industry
- Strong knowledge in Sweater product is a must and used to communicate with the Offshore factories
- Strong experience in sweater manufacturing process, able to make the knitting chat and understand the technical terms
- Strong fitting, grading, sewing/linking and size specification knowledge
- Work experience both in manufacturing and buying agent is preferred
- Able to communicate with foreign customers, China & offshores factories directly
- Proficient in MS words & excel. Knowledge in handling PLM systems is preferred
- Good command of English (verbal & written) & Mandarin
