Merchandiser
Responsibilities
- Assist the Merchandising Manager in all sourcing activities including locating potential vendors, negotiation on prices and delivery
- Consolidate and review costing from all bidding vendors for the Merchandising Manager
- Work with vendors onsite for support new launch execution & support production needs
- Work closely with our Q.C. team and technician to monitor the quality of products in bulk production
- Monitor production process and work with US team to ensure delivery adherence
Requirements
- DSE / Form 5 or above in Textile / Clothing preferred or relevant experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in merchandising and garment manufacturing field
- Good sourcing networks and production experience in oversea countries
- Experience working in or with buying offices a definite advantage
- Good people management and problem-solving skills
- Strong fashion / market sense and computer literate
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Detail oriented and flexible to work overtime or travel when needed
- Knowledgeable in both knit and woven fabrics and garment construction
