Project Manager (Architect)

Major Duties :

To provide architectural support for the following areas:

To plan, manage and inspect new capital works and alterations, additions and improvement (AA&I) projects;

To prepare project briefs, schedule of accommodation and accommodation requirements;

To prepare tender documents such as contract drawings, contract agreement and programme of construction for Architectural and Associated consultancy services;

To manage external consultants and contractors;

To prepare presentation materials and drawings;

To monitor project expenditure and progress to ensure timely completion of projects; and

To identify and implement latest trend and best practice in construction industry.

Requirements :

A recognised higher diploma in Architectural Studies or equivalent; preferably with a relevant degree and / or membership of a relevant professional institution;

At least 10 years’ relevant work experience;

Preferably with at least 3 years’ work experience in a supervisory capacity on the clients’ side or representing the clients’ side, such as government / public organisations / tertiary institutions / consultants;

Good administrative, interpersonal, communication and team building skills;

Sound management capability and ability to work independently; and

Good command of English and Chinese.

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
