R & D Manager (Fashion Design)
Responsibilities
- Lead & inspire the design teams
- Pioneer market research and trend analysis to forecast fashion movements
- Develop seasonal concepts and design direction for premium fashion brands
- Create and present inspiring collections aligned with the market positioning & brand images of different international clients
- Guide product development from concept to execution
- Deliver creative & compelling design presentations to our clients
Requirements
- Degree holder in Fashion Design from a renowned international institution
- Minimum 12 years' experience in premium fashion design and product development
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence
- Exceptional creative vision and aesthetic sensibility
- Expert knowledge of fabric innovation and material sourcing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with Digital/3D Design technologies is definitely an advantage
- Outstanding communication skills with fluency in English
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach
- Occasional travel to China is required
