About the role
Chau's & Co Ltd, a respected small accounting services firm in East of Tsim Sha Tsui, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Accountant to join their team. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to gain valuable experience in the accounting and auditing industry and contribute to the continued success of the firm.
What you'll be doing
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for various clients
Performing data entry, reconciliations, and audit schedules and analysis
Liaising with clients to gather information and address any accounting-related inquiries
Providing administrative support as needed
What we're looking for
A graduate in Accounting, or a related field
At least 1-2 years of experience in an assistant accountant or similar role, preferably within a professional services or accounting firm
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
A keen interest in the accounting profession and a desire to continuously learn and develop new skills
