Term / Temp Officer (Alumni Services)

Institutional Advancement Office focuses on engaging industry partners, philanthropists and alumni to foster collaborations and solicit financial and in-kind support for student development and institutional advancement of VTC.

Major Duties :

To contribute to alumni engagement strategies and their implementation;

To produce content, stories, social media content with alumni that align with Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) values;

To devise advertising strategy to best promote alumni engagement contents on media;

To administer the design and publications for alumni portal and alumni e-news;

To implement projects and campaigns to enhance alumni relations and strengthen alumni’s connections with alma mater in support of the on-going development of VTC; and

To provide administrative support to maintenance and enhancement of the alumni website and database system, and the sponsorship scheme to alumni activities.

Requirements :

A recognised degree or equivalent, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline;

At least 2 years’ relevant work experience. Experience in creative media, graphic design, copywriting, newsletter, would be an advantage;

Good knowledge of digital and social media marketing in engaging stakeholders;

Strong people skills to work and build connection with stakeholders;

Good communication and presentation skills; and    

Proactive, good adaptability in a multi-facet work environment, strong sense of responsibility, able to handle multi-tasks independently.

Notes :

The employment period ranges from 3 to 12 months.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.

The appointee may be required to work on shift / outside normal office hours.
