Job Duties

• Deliver riding lessons and equestrian activities, providing excellent customer service and responding positively to client feedback.
• Maintain high safety standards by following company policies, ensuring horse welfare, and checking that tack is safe and properly fitted.
• Support daily stable and riding operations, working closely with the Senior Manager, Senior Equestrian Coach, Veterinarian, and Farrier to ensure horse well-being and effective team communication.
• Assist with staff training and development through coaching, mentoring, and encouraging professional growth.
• Collaborate with HKJC teams and external partners to support events, clinics, competitions, and activities that promote equestrian sports.
• Work with management and administration teams to improve operational efficiency and enhance rider participation and engagement.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, including horse allocations, accident reports, attendance records, and other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements

• The job holder must have acquired BHS Qualifications Level 3 (Stage 3) or equivalent qualification
• Have a knowledge of training methods for schooling a variety of horses both under saddle and from the ground; previous experience of working with thoroughbreds would be advantageous
• be a holder of first-aid certificate
• Passion for horses and horse riding
• Fluency in English
