Data Engineer - MNC

This is a pivotal role to enable the company’s data ecosystem, through designing, developing and maintaining the data pipeline, data warehouse and the seamless integrations to different technology platforms/ channels.

Responsibilities:

• • Design and implement robust data ingestion flows across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring high-quality, reliable data models for data analysis
  • Engage with regional and cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop solutions that suit business needs
  • Define data governance and quality framework to ensure data accuracy and quality, and the compliant to regulatory requirements – such as GDPR, PDPO
  • Evaluate, select and implement scalable data solutions

                                        • Bachelor’s degree or above holder in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
                                        • With 4+ years’ experience in data engineering
                                        • Have track records building production data pipelines for analytics
                                        • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and ETL/ELT orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Alteryx or similar)
                                        • Deep knowledge of cloud big data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks or similar, and the data integration from hybrid platforms (Cloud & on-premises)
                                        • Familiarity with CI/CD, version control and DevOps practices
                                        • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
