Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop applications and services using Agile methodologies
- Design technical solutions based on business requirements
- Lead junior team members in system enhancement development and resolution of production incidents
- Build and maintain customer-facing backend services
- Proactively identify and fix defects using appropriate tools and techniques before they escalate
- Evaluate potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (candidates with less experience will be considered for the Developer position)
- Solid hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot (must-have)
- Experience in React.js preferred
- Experience in commercial client projects preferred
- Strong ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshoot independently and propose effective resolutions
- Experience in Agile development
- Hands-on experience in medium-scale enhancements across application platforms, including web applications and batch jobs
- Experience in leading junior developers preferred
- Good command of English and native Cantonese speaker
