Job Title: IT Engineer / IT Technician

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students
Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Help resolve technical issues in a timely manner ensuring a stable environment for users
Assist in the management of school systems to support teaching and learning
Provide AV support for school events including on weekends on a rotation basis
Undertake other duties as assigned by the Head of IT

Requirements:

Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years for IT Technician applicants, 5 years for IT Engineer applicants
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills in English
Personal Characteristics: Genuine interest in technology and desire for continued professional growth
Technical Skills:
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems
- Experience with Windows, ChromeOS, and iPadOS environments
- Experience in one or several of the following areas:
  - Google Workspace administration
  - Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant administration
  - Microsoft Power Platform and business/workflow automation
  - Device management using Microsoft InTune
  - Network administration including firewall and switches
- Candidates with prior experience and/or interest in application development both front-end and back-end, as well as database design will have a distinct advantage
