Qualifications & experience

Bachelor Degree in Building Engineering/construction management or related disciplines.
MCIOB or equivalent in Building Engineering disciplines.
Over 8 years working experience on new build project.
Candidate has main contractor working experience or data center project experience is highly preferred.
Familiar with HKE/BD/WSD/FSD/DSD regulations.
Proven experience in site supervision and project coordination.
Sound understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Both fluent in Cantonese , Mandarin and English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Sound management and interpersonal skills.

Tasks & responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations and manage subcontractor activities to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Participate in progress meetings and report key matters to the Project Manager (PM) / Project Director (PD).
Handle all necessary communications, including drafting emails and letters to consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
Assist in the preparation and submission of Monthly Interim Payment applications and evaluate subcontractors' IP submissions.
Review and verify daily site reports and maintain an organised record of construction activities.
Collect and document site photographs for reporting and archival purposes.
Update and monitor the construction Master Program, ensuring alignment with planned progress.
Enforce compliance with site safety measures, quality assurance protocols, and environmental protection plans.
Coordinate and supervise site logistics to support efficient execution of works.
Track and control the progress of site works by the latest construction schedule.
Manage construction methodologies and procedures in line with approved method statements and project documentation.
Liaise with the client’s site representatives to address drawing discrepancies and manage project change communications.
Communicate and coordinate with utility providers and relevant government departments to secure approvals and resolve site matters.
