Started with an aspiration to redefine and elevate the bakery landscape, Bakehouse by Grégoire Michaud is home to the city’s finest European-style baked goods and sourdough bread, all handmade on-site every day with the finest ingredients.   

Founded in 2013 by Chef Grégoire Michaud, it started as a wholesale bakery specialised in supplying handcrafted sourdough and fine pastries to kitchens in town. This humble wholesale bakery has quickly shaken up the industry and received overwhelming support from esteemed players, including Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury 5-star hotels and prestigious airlines.   

The success shed light on Hong Kong’s unfulfilled desire for quality bread. Chef Michaud felt the call to make artisanal bread more accessible to Hongkongers and nurture the city’s appreciation of artisanal baked goods. In 2018, the critically acclaimed neighbourhood bakery Bakehouse opened its door in Wanchai and took the bakery scene by storm in no time. Now, with five shops and wholesale available, Bakehouse has set the standard for artisanal bakeries and built a strong community bonded over the finest baked goods.

Job Duties 職責:

Looks after 5 or more baking kitchen in different locations
管理 5 個或更多位於不同地點的烘焙廚房
Independent and collaborate closely with Area Operations Manager and Head Bakers

Ensure all baking kitchens operates smoothly following the standard procedures created by the company

Ensure all baking kitchens operates in great hygiene and safety condition

Ensure operational excellence and fill in spots where necessary

Organise and lead regular meetings with all senior baking chefs

Assist new product launching and its relevant tasks

Accountable for arranging repair and maintenance of kitchen’s assets and machinery
負責安排廚房資產和機械的維修和保養
Reports back regularly to Director of Operations

Requirements 要求:

At least 3 year relevant experience in similar capacity ; experienced in bakery / pastries industry is an advantage
需要三年或以上相關工作職位經驗，具麵包店/甜品行業經驗者會被優先考慮
Fluent in Cantonese; Fair in English
流利廣東話，良好英語
Basic writing, presentation and computer skills, such as using Excel, PowerPoint and emails
基本的寫作, 表達和電腦技能，例如使用 Excel、PowerPoint 和電子郵件
Good communication skills
良好的溝通能力
Good team player and ability to work in a dynamic team
