The Role Responsibilities

Execute Fund of Funds orders including order placement, payment and settlement for clients and other related needs with excellent service standards.
Take proactive action to ensure continuous improvement and effective risk management in order to protect clients’ and Bank’s interests.

Business

Support the business in meeting its obligations on the prevention of money laundering under the Group’s policy and Standards, and under local law and regulations Organise and supervise the execution of settlement activities for local equities as required and work closely with external parties such as counterparties to meet clients’ needs.
Work closely with and other business teams for the Fund of Funds life cycle and other divisions of the

Processes

Resolve all problematic transactions on operations and proactively work closely with internal & external parties such as counterparties and the central depository to pre-empt potential service level issues.
Ensure the settlement operations are running in accordance with the rules laid down in the Departmental Operating Instructions Manual at all times.
Process cash order cheque issuance
Process TT Payment supporting Custody Transaction Management business
Process internal book record update
Support reconciliation, filing and some administrative works such as courier arrangement and etc.
Prepare funding arrangement for Fund of Funds Order process and placement
Compose FoF instruction to Transfer Agents and Vestima (Clearstream)
Voucher posting and process for capturing of cash / stock movement ( Hogan, SeCCuRe, SSTM &etc )
Support reconciliation, filing and some administrative works such as courier arrangement and etc.
Statement handling with Trustee Ops and Administrators
Compliance with the internal guidelines and procedure requirement

Our Ideal Candidate

Education: Diploma or Higher

Training:

Prefer to have Minimum 2 years of operation experience in banking or securities industry but fresh graduate will be considered
Preference with experience on Securities or Fund of Funds Operations

Languages: Proficiency in both spoken English and Cantonese.
