Part-time Lecturer (2026 Spring Term) [UG] (A&SS) (Ref: 25002LJ )

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointees will mainly be responsible for the course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

conducting lectures and tutorials;
writing lecture notes, designing and marking of assignments/examination scripts; and
performing other related teaching and administrative duties.

LANG 3143AEF Sociolinguistic Issues in Hong Kong

A recognized higher degree in Linguistics, Sociolinguistics or Applied linguistics. Relevant teaching and/ research experience would be an advantage.

PSYC A342F Behavioural Economics

Applicants should possess a higher degree, preferably an earned doctorate, in Economics or Psychology or a related discipline. They should have teaching/professional experience. Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage.

Duration of Appointment

The appointees will be required to work during daytime on campus for the period from January 2026 to June 2026 for a maximum of 17 hours per week.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
