The Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading the daily operation of the finance team of a service unit in preparing and analyzing budget and financial reports, and ensuring all transactions and documentation comply with the reporting standards and requirements of our Organization and funding bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports timely and accurately
Prepare cash flow forecast and annual operating budgets
Review and monitor the effectiveness of and adherence to the accounting policies and procedures, recommend and implement improvement proposals of better control and governance effectiveness
Develop and maintain proper internal control policies and procedures
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Assume the role of finance lead on system automation and process reengineering projects of the service unit

Requirements:

Degree or above in Accounting or related disciplines with professional accounting qualification
At least 5 years of working experience in handling a full set of accounts, NGO experience is definitely an advantage
Preferably strong knowledge of Flexsystem
Strong team player and ability to communicate well with people from all levels or background
Taking the initiative to discuss and solve problems with team members as a team
Ability to work under pressure and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
