  • Our product portfolio includes metal snaps, zipper pullers, plastic buckles, cord locks, labels, and other functional and decorative trims used in outdoor & sports clothing, bags and luggage, outdoor gear, and related products.
  • We operate manufacturing facilities in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Vietnam, and Europe, enabling us to serve major international markets including the United States, Europe, and Asia. 
  • Our customers are leading global outdoor and sports brands that rely on us for reliable, scalable, and quality‑assured supply‑chain solutions.

 

Role Mission

  • To provide end‑to‑end intellectual property support by securing, managing, and enforcing patents, trademarks, and related IP rights for the company’s product innovations and brands. 
  • The role ensures that our IP strategy aligns with commercial objectives, R&D roadmaps, and supply‑chain activities, while minimizing legal and commercial risk across global markets.
Role Summary
  • Patent and trademark portfolio management, IP‑driven contract drafting, and strategic IP advice for R&D, marketing, and procurement
  • You will act as the primary internal contact for IP matters, responsible for filing and prosecuting patents and trademarks, drafting and negotiating IP‑related contracts, and advising key business stakeholders on risk, compliance, and strategy.
Job Description
  • Draft, review, and prosecute patent applications, including provisional, PCT, and national‑phase filings, for inventions across relevant technology domains.
  • Manage the full trademark lifecycle, including conducting clearance searches, preparing and filing trademark applications in Hong Kong, China, the EU...et and the international system, as well as handling renewals, oppositions, and portfolio maintenance.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize IP‑related commercial and trading contracts, including licensing agreements, technology transfer agreements, IP assignment contracts, NDAs, joint‑development agreements, and IP clauses in supply and sales contracts.
  • Monitor and enforce IP rights, including identifying potential infringements and coordinating with external counsel for enforcement actions.
  • Advise internal stakeholders (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Operations) on IP strategy, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.
  • Maintain an accurate IP database and generate periodic reports on patent/trademark status, upcoming annuities, and key contractual obligations.
  • Support cross‑border IP matters, including Greater China and selected Southeast Asian markets, and collaborate with local counsel where required.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or Science/Engineering.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Intellectual Property Law (e.g., LLM in IP, Postgraduate Certificate in IP) is highly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in an in‑house IP department, law firm, or IP agency.
  • Proven track record in drafting patent specifications and responding to office actions in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Solid experience in managing multi‑jurisdictional trademark portfolios, including applications, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex IP licensing and trading contracts.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Strong technical understanding; a background in engineering or science is an advantage, especially for patent drafting and prosecution.
  • Proficient in IP management tools and Microsoft Office / Teams.

 

Terms & Benefits

  • 5 days work : Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
  • 13‑month base salary plus performance‑related bonus
  • Annual leave: 12 days (1st year), 20 days (max)
  • Medical insurance coverage
