Client Details

Our client is a well-known French retail brand. They are recently having multiple expansion in Southern China. They are now seeking for a Financial Analyst who has specialised skill set in FP&A to join their team.

Description

Provide management reports for Southern China market
Perform variance analysis against forecast and highlight key trends, drivers & issues
Analyze business results with various operational performance metrics to identify efficiencies and cost saving opportunities for management's review
Support management accounting functions including month-end/ year-end close, rolling forecast, annual budget and planning process
Prepare monthly business review reporting package
Facilitate better understanding of financial performance drivers through pro-active communication with internal customers
Collaborate with cross functional teams on seasonal buys, tracking purchases, sales (sell-in and sell-out), franchised & own retail store productivity and inventory status
Prepare financial justifications for potential capital expenditure / marketing investment projects and follow up with post-evaluation
Automate reporting process by designing and implementing right tools and processes

Profile

Bachelor's degree with major in finance, accounting, or any business-related discipline
At least 3-4 years' relevant experience in Finance Analytics/FP&A, preferably from retail industry
Qualified with HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent would be a plus
Strong analytical mind with commercial sense. Good understanding of financial concepts and drivers (P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet analysis)
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving capability
Well-organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated and a good team player
Proficiency in Advanced Excel (Power query), Power BI and other Business Intelligence reporting tool. Experience in Oracle EPM and Microsoft Dynamics would be an advantage
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
