The Pathways Foundation (“Pathways") strives to help children with dyslexia to bridge the learning gap, rekindle their interest in learning, and build self-confidence through professional and evidence-based intervention programmes.

Established in 2001, we are a registered charitable organisation in Hong Kong committed to supporting students with dyslexia through intervention programmes and professional assessment services. Pathways also organises regular parent seminars and activities, to enhance public knowledge of reading difficulties and the teaching and learning of children with dyslexia. Through our Bursary Scheme, Pathways provides subsidies to students from low-income families, so that they will not lose the opportunity to receive the needed learning support due to financial difficulties.

We are a registered charitable organisation in Hong Kong dedicated to supporting students with specific learning needs. Our team consists of specialised teachers as well as allied professionals including clinical psychologists and speech therapists. They collaborate to serve hundreds of students in need each year through individualised and continued after-school or in-school intervention programmes, along with professional assessment and therapy services.

Reporting to the Manager – Administration & Information Technology, you will:

Provide administrative support for educational programmes, such as handling service applications, drafting communications with parents, coordinating with students, parents, teachers, and stakeholders on enrolment and scheduling, preparing invoices, subsidies allocations, etc.
Maintain day-to-day office operations, such as facilities management, organising resources and inventory such as classrooms, the library, and office supplies.
Prepare reports for the management related to student enrolments, programme and service statistics, subsidy disbursement, etc.
Provide support in daily IT operations such as maintenance of the IT infrastructure and monitoring of its performance and reliability, installing and configuring hardware and software, management of user accounts and access rights, etc.
Troubleshoot IT issues and perform system backups.
Assist in the purchasing, renewal, and updating of IT equipment, software licenses and service contracts, and managing inventory.
Assist in preparing operation procedures and manuals, etc.

What We’re Looking For

Good verbal and written communication abilities in both Chinese and English to interact with various stakeholders. Ability to work well with others and build positive relationships.
Attention to detail: Accuracy in tasks, such as data entry and document preparation.
Background in information technology or a related field. Formal training (certificate or diploma) is preferred, but relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
Practical knowledge in setting up and managing computer hardware and software.
Comfortable working with a variety of productivity tools and platforms, such as operating systems, collaboration suites, content management systems, and video conferencing tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and WordPress.
Bonus skills include basic graphic design proficiency using popular creative software.
Candidates who can work on Saturdays and Sundays are preferred.
