Responsibilities

Demonstrate and have completely understanding of pricing mechanism in Freight Forwarding business in Hong Kong & S. China area
Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation, manage total pricing procedure to enhance profitability
Ensure timely turnaround of rate requests
Handle customer's RFQ / RFP and RFI
Work closely with global sales team and offices to identify and capitalize on strengths/overcome weaknesses in terms of pricing and service compared to our competition
Align professional pricing and service guidelines in conjunction with sales and operations objectives in order to win the business and unlock new business opportunities
Monitor the success rate of all quotations & RFQs
Yield Management using Pricing as a tool

Requirements

Degree holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in international freight forwarding industry / operational transportation or logistics industry
Demonstrate strong leaderships and negotiation skills with self-motivation, problem solving abilities and a “hands on” mentality
Highly developed persuasiveness and influencing skills
Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese, including Mandarin
